As a young boy or girl from Lapis Village, you dream of following in your father's footsteps and becoming an Ace Trainer in the prestigious Devon Corporation. However, strange occurrences and wild Pokémon behavior pose obstacles as you strive to complete your journey and become a skilled Trainer.

Storyline of Eclipse Edition

The adventure begins in the peaceful village of Lapis, where you live on your parents' Mareep farm. After receiving a Pokémon from Professor Oak, your childhood friend Anya embarks on her path, and soon, you prove your maturity to your parents. They allow you to leave home to pursue your dreams of becoming an Ace Trainer. But trouble brews in the Soala region. Wild Pokémon have begun acting aggressively, and mysterious gang activity spreads chaos. Local rumors speak of illusions and mirages, leading you to wonder whether these events are connected. It’s up to you to uncover the truth behind the growing unrest.

All 721 Pokémon are available in Eclipse Edition, with many different forms to collect. A variety of methods for catching Pokémon, including an Egg Shop and gift Pokémon, add depth to the experience.

Updated Battle Mechanics

The game introduces updated mechanics to match Generation 6, including the Physical/Special Split, new moves, abilities, and the Fairy type. This ensures that battles are more strategic than ever before.

New TMs/HMs & Field Moves

Enjoy 50 new TMs that can be used infinitely, as well as powerful Field Moves like Dive, Rock Climb, and Hurricane. The classic Headbutt move returns, enabling you to encounter Pokémon hiding in trees.

Post-Game Content

After completing the main storyline, enjoy side stories featuring familiar characters and legendary Pokémon. Explore a variety of side quests scattered throughout the region for rare rewards.

Eclipse Edition: Game Controls

  • Movement:
    Use the arrow keys or WASD to move your character around the world.

  • Interact:
    Press Enter or the Z key to interact with NPCs, objects, and Pokémon.

  • Menu:
    Press Esc or X to open your menu, where you can access your Pokémon team, and items, and save your progress.

  • Poké Ball:
    To use a Poké Ball during battle, press Space to throw it at the wild Pokémon.

  • Battle:
    In battle, use the number keys (1-4) to select your Pokémon's move. You can also press Arrow keys to switch between available Pokémon.

  • Map:
    Press M to view the map of the Soala region, helping you navigate through different towns and areas.
