Blockader: Rodent Rampage

Blockader is a colorful 2D roguelite arena shooter that turns a bunch of brave little space rodents into the heroes of a very chaotic lunar battle. Your weapons fire automatically, so you do not need to worry about aiming. Instead, your job is to keep moving, dodge danger, defeat enemy waves, and create a build that becomes stronger with every round. Cute rodents, angry enemies, and a whole lot of flying projectiles make every run wonderfully unpredictable.

How to Play

Survive the Lunar Arena

In Blockader, your character moves around a circular battlefield while enemies rush in from different directions. Since your attacks happen automatically, movement is the star of the show. Keep your rodent moving, avoid getting surrounded, and look for safe gaps when the arena starts feeling a little too crowded.

Every defeated enemy helps fill the wave meter. Once the meter is complete, the current wave ends and a new one begins with tougher opposition. As you progress, eight danger tiers gradually raise the challenge. Snipers can also attack from a distance, so standing still for too long is usually a bad idea.

Pick Upgrades and Build Your Strategy

After completing a wave, you get a selection of random upgrade cards. Choose carefully because these cards shape your build for the current run. Blockader features more than 100 cards across four rarity levels, giving you plenty of combinations to experiment with.

Some upgrades add extra bullets, while others introduce effects such as chain lightning, poison, arrows, or even dragon allies. Yes, your tiny lunar rodent can apparently have a dragon on the payroll. If the available choices are not useful, you can reroll the selection and try again.

Grow Stronger After Every Run

Your progress does not completely disappear when a run ends. Stars earned during gameplay can be invested in permanent Gear upgrades covering Offense, Defense, and Utility. Each of the six playable characters also has a unique Skill Tree, giving you more ways to develop your favorite fighter.

You can also collect discovered upgrades and uncover hidden mysteries while working toward higher positions on the wave leaderboard. With different characters, cards, and danger levels to explore, each attempt can play out differently.

Controls

• WASD: Move your character around the arena.
• 1–4: Select an available upgrade card.
• Space: Reroll the current card choices.
• Tab: Open or hide the stats panel.
• Esc: Pause the game.
