Pokemon the Pit of 100 Trails

Introduction to Pokemon: The Pit of 100 Trails

If you're a fan of Pokémon and love a good challenge, Pokemon: The Pit of 100 Trails is the fan-made game you've been waiting for. Created by Team Aqua Leader Archie, this exciting game is inspired by the concept of the Pit of 100 Trials from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but with a Pokémon twist!

Game Overview

In Pokemon: The Pit of 100 Trails, you begin with a team of 3 random Pokémon and face off against trainers whose teams are also randomly selected. As you progress through the floors, the levels of opposing trainers increase gradually, starting from Level 1 and climbing to Level 100. The challenge is relentless, requiring sharp strategies and smart use of your Pokémon's abilities and movesets to make it through to the top.

But the game doesn’t stop at ordinary battles! There are two main battle modes to choose from:

  • Singles Mode: One-on-one battles, where you'll need to carefully plan your team and their moves.
  • Doubles Mode: Two-on-two battles, adding a layer of strategy as you work with multiple Pokémon simultaneously.
  • For those seeking an even tougher challenge, the game also offers Extra Random Mode, where everything is shuffled—including Pokémon moves, abilities, and learn sets—making each battle a surprise.

Journey Through the Pit: What to Expect

Each floor in Pokemon: The Pit of 100 Trails brings new challenges as you face off against more trainers, with the number of trainers increasing as you ascend. The further you go, the more intense the battles become, culminating in floors where you could face up to four trainers at a time.

  • Heal/Shop Stops: Every 5th floor, you’ll have the chance to rest, heal your team, and restock your items. This is a critical step to prepare yourself for the next series of battles.
  • Move Tutor: Every 10th floor brings a Move Tutor, allowing you to adjust your Pokémon’s movesets, ensuring your team is optimized for the battles ahead.
  • Random Pokémon Bonus: On every 25th floor, you’re allowed to add a new random Pokémon to your squad, bolstering your team as you climb higher.
    Rewards and Strategy

With each floor you clear, you’ll receive up to three random item drops. These items could include healing potions, battle-enhancing items, or even rare and powerful items that could make all the difference in the next battle.
